We wrote this because running Prime Library on registers and a seating chart stopped working. It handles seat allocation, memberships and attendance for a study hall, and it is in daily use in Barabanki rather than in a demo.
If you allocate seats to members, take money monthly and need to know who was in the room yesterday, this replaces the register. If you run a lending library of a few thousand books, it is not the right tool.
